This role focuses on maximizing each child's independence and participation in daily activities. **Key Responsibilities*** Upon receiving a licensed independent practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care* Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the patient and their family.* Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.* Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring and providing education to students and other professionals.* Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate, thorough documentation.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in physical therapy* MA PT license **Preferred Qualifications*** 1-year physical therapy experience - new graduates considered* Pediatric experienceCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
