The Physical Therapist at Children's Rehabilitation Institute Teleton USA provides therapeutic support for the Pediatric Physical Therapy Coordinator, implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and consulting with the care team to optimize pediatric rehabilitation outcomes.
This role requires standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and travel for meetings. Texas PT licensure, NBCPT certification, CPR, and bilingual Spanish (preferred) are important for success.
The Physical Therapist provides therapeutic support for Physical Therapy Coordinator including but not limited to, implement treatment plans for patients, document and evaluate patients, record prognoses, and confer with others. Services include but not limited to, providing physical therapy, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans, and demonstrate good judgment.

Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and other dynamic movements throughout the workday. Must be able to safely lift, transfer, and support patients and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. The position also requires sufficient manual dexterity for hands-on therapeutic techniques and the ability to push, pull, or move objects as part of patient care. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision to monitor patient safety, observe movement patterns, and assess equipment. The work environment may include moderate exposure to environmental elements such as noise, odors, bodily fluids, cleaning agents, and varying temperatures typical of clinical and therapy spaces. Use of personal computing equipment, electronic medical records, and standard office/clinical technology is required for documentation and communication. The role may involve occasional travel for meetings, trainings, or other business-related needs. Some after-hours work, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on patient or operational needs
