San Pedro Manor in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program serving geriatric patients.

You will conduct screenings and evaluations, develop care plans, provide medically necessary therapies, and document discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards. Open to PTs at all experience levels, including new grads; on-site role with physical demands requiring standing and lifting. Benefits include 401(k) with match and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Develop care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.

• Administer procedures such as manual therapies, ambulation, therapeutic exercises and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families and other providers about physical disorders.

San Pedro Manor in San Antonio, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.


• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.


• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.


• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.


• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications
