Job summary

KIME Performance in the Sacramento region is seeking a licensed physical therapist to join our clinics. You will evaluate orthopedic and performance-based conditions, develop goal-driven care plans, and use force-plate data to guide return-to-sport decisions within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active California PT license or license-eligible.
• DPT, MPT, or equivalent degree.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

We hire physical therapists across our Sacramento-region clinics throughout the year. Our vision is toupgrade 100,000 lives by 2030 - and we get there by developing clinicians who can bridge rehab and performance - progressing patients from pain to function to return-to-sport, supported by force-plate data and one-on-one treatment time.

The Region

Our clinics span the Sacramento area — from the urban core to the suburbs to the foothill communities east of the city. Across the region, you’ll work with a wide mix: youth and high school athletes, collegiate competitors, endurance athletes who train year-round on the American River Parkway, masters athletes, and active adults who refuse to slow down.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and performance-based conditions
• Build individualized, goal-driven plans of care
• Use force-plate data and objective measures to inform return-to-sport decisions
• Collaborate with clinicians, coaches, and support staff
• Mentor DPT students rotating through the clinic (optional)

What You’ll Find

• Autonomy with accountability - set your start time within 6am–6pm operating hours
• One-on-one treatment time and full ownership of your caseload
• Structured mentorship, weekly case reviews, and the KIMEU development pathway
• Force plates, performance training space, and outcome-tracking infrastructure

Compensation

Base Salary

$75,000–$100,000 (PT Level I–III)

Gainshare

Uncapped, performance-based

Total Compensation

$95,000–$175,000+
