Job summary

The Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide inpatient therapy, develop personalized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery.

You’ll supervise treatments, lead patient assessments, address questions, and build meaningful relationships with patients and families to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor's + experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients requiring physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
