Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Physical Therapist in Prescott, AZ to help patients recover mobility and strength after orthopedic injuries, surgery, or neuroconditions. You will work with a supportive clinical team, performing hands-on treatments and documenting progress to support functional outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited PT degree, AZ licensure, and BLS, with internship experience. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance for eligible hires,

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
  • Licensed by AZ State Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re-evaluations to indicate the level of progress
  • Document all treatments and note any status changes
  • Tailor treatments to individual patients as needed
  • Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource when others need to learn from you

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients experiencing a wide range of physical challenges—including orthopedic injury, surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or balance conditions—restore their mobility and functional strength so they can regain their independence and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Every day you will collaborate with a supportive team of clinical professionals in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be expected to perform the majority of treatments yourself, delivering direct, hands‑on care tailored to each patient's unique recovery journey.

To be successful in this role, you must thrive in a collaborative, dynamic setting, possess strong clinical adaptability across diverse patient backgrounds, and be eager to actively engage in peer‑to‑peer mentoring and teamwork.

*Job Requirements**Required*
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Preferred
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area
  • Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
