Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. seeks licensed Physical Therapists to provide home-based pediatric physical therapy across California.

You will work with infants and toddlers, delivering therapy in the child’s natural environment and collaborating with families to achieve developmental goals. Flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for benefits (medical, dental, vision) are offered, with a sign-on bonus up to $1000 and potential 401(k) participation.

Competenze

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license is required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy in the child’s natural environment.

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
