Job summary

Vein Clinics of Lake County LLC seeks a passionate Physical Therapist to join our Vein and Wound Care Clinic as a full-time Lymphedema Therapist in Painesville, OH. No prior lymphedema certification is required; we will support certification and develop specialized expertise.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating lymphedema, administering decongestive therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (or Occupational Therapy) from an accredited program.
• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) to obtain licensure.
• Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or vascular rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and chronic edema; create individualized plans.
• Administer complete decongestive therapy and compression management.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on long-term lymphedema care and edema management.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with regulatory standards.
• Uphold a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment.

About the Role:

Vein Clinics of Lake County LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing and dedicated Vein and Wound Care Clinic as a full time Lymphedema Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through expert lymphedema care in a supportive clinical environment.

No prior lymphedema certification is required. We are willing to support and help you obtain your lymphedema therapy necessary certification and provide the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in this growing area of patient care.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or Occupational Therapy) from an accredited program
• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license (or Occupational Therapy) or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or vascular rehabilitation preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
