Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ojai, California is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time, on-site role. You will evaluate and treat a range of complex in- and outpatient conditions, supervise PT assistants, and communicate goals to physicians and care teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, current California PT license, and current BLS certification. Preferred: a DPT or master's, and 1 year of acute care experience.

  • Current California Physical Therapy license issued by the Physical Therapy Board.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Compensation

Salary Range: $53..08 - $78.05 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview:

Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current California Physical Therapy issued by the Physical Therapy Board
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships
  • Previous Skilled Nursing experience (OVCH)
  • Additional Board Specialty Certification(s) by the APTA
