Achieve Beyond in Staten Island, NY is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy across homes, clinics, and community settings. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work with a diverse range of children and families in the NYC metro area.

You will join a team focused on high-quality care with support from clinical supervisors and staff, while meeting HIPAA and regulatory requirements. This position emphasizes compassionate, family-centered therapy.

Formación

• Must be NYS Licensed Physical Therapist.
• 1–2 years experience working with children (birth–5) preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth–21 in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to support involvement and carryover.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan established for each child; plan ongoing treatment and address goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain confidentiality and required records.

Wage:Evaluations $128.00 - $175.00/ hourly$66.00-$120.00

Job Responsibilities For a Physical Therapist

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements For a Physical Therapist

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• NYS Licensed Physical Therapist
• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth5 is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate: Evaluations $128.00 - $175.00/ hourly$66.00-$120.00

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the Physical TherapistJob interview process.
