Job summary

New Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New York is seeking qualified Physical Therapists to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. Positions available include full-time, part-time, and per diem roles.

The Physical Therapist will assess referred patients, develop and administer treatment plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and oversee support staff under the direction of the Rehab Director.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist for New York State.
• Experience evaluating referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Ability to establish and administer treatment programs with physician direction.

Job description

New Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking qualified Full Time/ Part Time and Per Diem Physical Therapists to join our dynamic rehabilitation team.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Physical Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Physical Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.

Applicants must have current state license as a Physical Therapist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Duties Include:
