Job summary

PruittHealth in New Bern, NC is seeking a Flexible Part Time or PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our therapy services team. This role offers sign-on bonus opportunities and a focus on resident-centered care in a post-acute setting.

You will complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document outcomes while adhering to policy and quality standards. New graduates are welcome; experienced therapists preferred. Competitive benefits and career growth await.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
• New graduates welcome where applicable.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per care plan.
• Complete all documentation and records timely and accurately.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
