Protouch Staffing seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation in Munster, Indiana. The role focuses on evaluating and treating orthopedic conditions to restore mobility and function, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient education.

You'll work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 40 hours, with clinic hours typically 7:30 AM–7:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Friday, no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide rehabilitation services for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation interventions.
• Monitor progress, reassess outcomes, and modify plans as needed.
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery strategies, and home programs.

Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopaedics

Position Type: Full-Time

Setting: Outpatient Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist to join an established outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation team in Munster, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, restore strength, and return to their daily activities.

The ideal candidate will provide individualized, evidence-based treatment while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and functional goals.
• Provide rehabilitation services for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including joint replacements, tendon and ligament injuries, back and neck pain, and joint or muscle pain.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other appropriate rehabilitation interventions.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess functional outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, recovery strategies, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress reports in accordance with professional standards.
• Deliver patient-centered care while promoting safe, effective, and timely rehabilitation.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with an expected 40-hour workweek.
• Monday-Thursday: Clinic hours range from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with reasonable shift flexibility.
• Friday: Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Patient evaluations are scheduled in one-hour appointments.
• Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled every 30 minutes, with longer sessions available when clinically appropriate.
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
• Outpatient office setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
