Job summary

The Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an 11-bed inpatient Rehab Department. You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with patients and families.

You will educate patients, families, and staff on therapy needs, participate in discharge planning, and ensure safe, accurate documentation and communication throughout care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy and licensure in the respective state.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, pushing, and occasional patient handling
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment
• No prior experience required
