Job summary

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

This full-time exempt position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-based care with mentorship and growth within a rapidly expanding organization. You will evaluate a range of conditions, develop treatment plans, and document progress in our EMR system while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

  • DPT degree from an accredited program.
  • Michigan Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess patients with orthopedic, sports-related, post-surgical, neurological, and work-related conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and findings.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
  • Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and team members.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
  • Participate in clinic initiatives that promote quality and patient satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
  • Participate in clinic initiatives that promote quality, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Required
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan Physical Therapist License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering excellent patient care.
Preferred
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience.
  • Manual therapy training or experience.
  • Dry needling certification or interest in obtaining certification.
  • Experience treating athletes and active populations.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
