Job description

Role:

Provides physical therapy treatments to address movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, or disability.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Developing, modifying, and evaluating personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Performing therapy interventions using standard techniques appropriate to each patient's condition.
• Educating patients, families, and staff on treatment and care needs.
• Ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, home instructions, equipment recommendations, and follow-up care.
• Overseeing activities of support personnel, including assistants and students.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of patient responses and interventions.
• Adhering to safety protocols and performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field to obtain licensure.
• State-specific licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to stand constantly, lift objects up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities such as walking, reaching, and bending.
• Effective communication skills and attention to safety.
