Maynard, MA
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is a locally owned outpatient physical therapy practice expanding from our established, 5-star Bedford clinic to a brand-new clinic at Maynard Crossing. We are looking for a Physical Therapist who wants excellent one-on-one patient care, clinical autonomy backed by a strong team, and a meaningful role in shaping a new clinic from the beginning.
who can work independently, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, and is excited to help build something. Exceptional newer clinicians with a strong clinical story are also encouraged to apply.
Maynard will be a brand-new, purpose-built clinic with three private treatment rooms, a clean and inviting treatment environment, and modern orthopedic and balance/vestibular equipment. The clinical model is designed around quality care: 40-minute one-on-one sessions, no double-booking, and no aides or techs taking over portions of treatment.
You will also have a real voice in how Maynard develops - including programming, equipment, workflows, community outreach and future team growth. This is an opportunity for an experienced clinician to have influence without being on an island.
“My favorite part is the culture that we have here. We have so much fun with patients, with coworkers. It really is a good atmosphere whenever you walk through the door.”
— Alexa Holm, PT, DPT, Clinical Director
“What makes FYZICAL stand out is the 40-minute, one-on-one treatments with no overlapping. There are clinicians here with years of experience in different settings and specialties, so I’m able to get ideas and learn and grow as a clinician.”
— Brit Swift, PT, DPT
“It is kind of the best of both worlds. I get to learn more orthopedic stuff, and I get to also stay in my comfort zone and treat more neurological conditions. So I get to have it all. I’m never bored at work. I’m always learning something new.”
— Rachel Bunker, PTA
Expect a genuinely varied caseload, approximately 60% balance/vestibular and 40% orthopedic/musculoskeletal. Some balance or vestibular experience is preferred, but you do not need to arrive as a deep vestibular expert. Strong clinicians with relevant experience in areas such as geriatrics, neurology or fall prevention may also be a great fit, and you will have experienced colleagues to help expand your skills.
The new clinic will include specialized equipment such as Solo-Step overhead safety support, vestibular goggles, BlazePods, Normatec and ANCORE.
Base salary: $90,000-$105,000 for a full-time schedule, based on experience, clinical expertise and role responsibilities; prorated for reduced schedules. We expect a strong PT with 2+ years of relevant outpatient experience to be competitive in the $90Ks, with higher compensation available for more experienced candidates.
Our Bedford clinic has built a strong local reputation and 5-star patient reviews, and Maynard is the next step in our growth. As our locally owned practice expands, strong clinicians will have opportunities to take on additional clinical and leadership responsibility based on their interests and strengths. We are not hiring someone simply to fill a schedule - we want someone who can become an important part of what we build next.
Interested in fewer hours? Our primary need is for a 32-40 hour anchor clinician, but we are also happy to hear from experienced PTs interested in part-time opportunities.
