Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team providing individualized patient care. You will work with patients and families to promote health and fitness, serving as an advocate for wellness and education.

Depending on experience, you may mentor therapy students and peers. Full-time schedule with eight-hour days; standard weekdays and occasional weekends/holidays to cover hospital service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.
• Minnesota State Physical Therapy Licensure.
• Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As a Physical Therapist, you will be a local expert working with patients, families and an interdisciplinary team.
• You will promote health, wellness and fitness and advocate for patients.
• Mentorship for career development; potential educator or mentor for students and peers.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist you will be considered a local expert who will work closely with patients, families, and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized care. You will serve as an advocate and promote health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. If you are just starting out your career, you will be mentored and guided by senior Physical Therapy colleagues. If you already have substantial experience, we may ask you to be an educator or mentor for therapy students, peers, and other medical professionals.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy. Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.

Licensure & Certification: Current Minnesota State Physical Therapy Licensure Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Schedule Details

Monday through Friday, eight hour days with start/end time to be determined but would most likely be 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. Intermittent weekends and holidays to cover hospital service. This typically is approximately 4 weekends per calendar year.
