Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services and foster positive relationships with facilities and clients. You’ll screen and evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, plan discharges, and supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in alignment with standards.

Responsibilities include maximizing function, providing oversight to PTAs, growing the PT program, and staying current with regulations and billing practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist (PT) delivers high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices. Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs, and case management. The therapist upholds professional conduct and complies with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.

• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes


• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols


• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing


• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
