Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Danbury is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services, applying evidence-based PT techniques to help patients regain function and independence.

You’ll work in a supportive team with access to up-to-date equipment, participate in care planning, ensure licensure and CPR requirements are met, and contribute to a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes professional growth and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
