Position Summary
At Athletico, the Physical Therapist’s role is to evaluate, design, and implement a patient’s plan of care. Each Plan of Care is created to increase, maintain, or restore function, minimize or prevent disability, and assist patients in reaching their maximum performance levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide interpretation of prescriptions, perform an initial evaluation, and establish a treatment plan with functional and/or work‑related goals.
- Appropriately progress treatment and goals.
- Provide periodic and timely written communication to physicians.
- Manage discharge and patient follow‑up.
- Supervise rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed.
- Supervise PTAs when applicable per state practice act.
- Document all treatment and complete all written communications in a timely manner (initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily SOAP notes, functional status reports, functional capacity evaluations, insurance/plan of care forms).
- Establish and develop professional relationships with referral sources including physicians, PAs, ARNPs, chiropractors, case managers, etc.

- Providing coverage to special events such as sport camps, races, tournaments, and lectures.

- Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients.

- Inform physicians of our services, locations, and quality patient care.
- Accompany patients to their physician visits.
- Interoffice communication and follow‑up.
- Education: Staff in‑services, community in‑services, attendance at continuing education courses, and follow‑up summary of all courses to staff members.

Education and Experience
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
- Current Professional licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR Certification.

Salaried ranges listed are for full‑time (40 hour) employees. Individual base pay depends on factors such as complexity, responsibility, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience. Base pay ranges are reviewed and updated annually. Offers are made within the applicable base pay range at the time.
Minimum Salary/Wage: USD 78,800.00 per year.
Maximum Salary/Wage: USD 100,000.00 per year.
