Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist for Henderson Health in Henderson, NV to join our in-house rehab program. You will work with a compassionate team focused on improving geriatric outcomes and upholding CAPLICO values daily.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating patients, delivering skilled therapy, wound care, and generating discharge summaries. A valid PT license is required; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels; New Grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing and walking, and occasional lifting and transferring of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, wound care).
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Henderson, NV, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
