Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) in Georgia, Griffin, for PRN schedule in Therapy Services. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and documenting patient care per established therapy plans within our post-acute care environment.

Applicants must hold a valid PT license in the state and graduate from a CAPTE-accredited program. The role offers opportunities for career growth and ongoing professional development within a supportive, safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PT license in the practicing state.
• Graduate of CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; foreign-trained must be deemed equivalent.
• Ability to complete evaluations, develop plans, and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the care plan.
• Document and record in a timely, accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures for practice scope.
• Recognize priorities in patient care and act with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, trainings, and required in-services on time.
• Perform related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized physical therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional license in the state of practice
• Graduate of CAPTE accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Physical Therapist entry level education in the U.S. by a credential’s evaluation organization approved by the APTA
