Job summary

Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES is seeking a part-time, ten-month Civil Service probationary Physical Therapist to provide therapy services for students in the district. A NYS Physical Therapist license is required, with preference for experience in educational settings.

Civil Service eligibility or provisional appointment procedures apply. Applicants will undergo fingerprint background checks under SAVE Legislation.

Job description

Part-time, 10-month, Teacher Unit, Civil Service probationary position. The successful candidate will be providing physical therapy services to students in component school districts. NYS Physical Therapist license required. Experience in an educational setting preferred.

Civil Service position candidates must be reachable on the existing eligibility list. If there is no mandated eligibility list, candidates will be considered for provisional appointment. Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required examination and being reached on the eligibility list.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint support criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
