Job summary

Avir Health Group in East El Paso, TX, is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop customized plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and function for residents.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license and good standing with boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health documentation system a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress; update care plans with the IDT.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and families on exercises, safety, and mobility strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Attend team meetings and participate in interdisciplinary coordination.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and regulatory standards.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop customized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall function. You’ll work closely with an experienced interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure the highest level of care for each resident.

Qualifications
