Physical Therapist for Adult Day Health Care Center

We are looking for a part‑time licensed physical therapist to work in community‑based geriatric healthcare (Adult Day Health Care also known as CBAS) in the Hollywood area.

4 morning hours per day, 3 days a week, 12 hours total per week.

The therapist will be working with registered nurses and social workers as part of a multi‑disciplinary team in a creative, caring, laid‑back environment.

The work is not physically demanding (i.e. no max‑assist transfer patients) and you are not under pressure to meet a daily patient quota.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Creating personalized fitness‑oriented health‑care programs for patients.
• Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Advising patients on exercise techniques.
