Root Therapy and Wellness in Bozeman, MT seeks a licensed physical therapist to provide one-on-one care for orthopedic and post-surgical clients, with independence over plans of care. Work in a small multidisciplinary clinic focused on root-cause treatment rather than symptom chasing.
A flexible schedule is offered with part-time or full-time options, including genuine scheduling flexibility. Benefits include health insurance after 25 hours per week.
Root Therapy and Wellness is hiring a physical therapist in Bozeman, Montana — part-time or full-time, your call. You'd treat orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recoveries, and chronic pain in full one-on-one sessions, with real independence over your plans of care.
This is a small multidisciplinary clinic, not a mill. You'd work beside occupational therapists, a PTA, and a speech-language pathologist — including colleagues with deep specialty training in visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and Somatic Experiencing — in a practice built around getting to the root cause instead of chasing symptoms visit to visit.
You are the expert here, and the advocate for your patient’s care. That isn’t a slogan — it’s the operating model. You decide what’s best for the people you treat, every session is one-on-one, and nobody is ever double-booked. Your clinical judgment is why we'd hire you, so we don't override it with a schedule.
A few practical things we've built because they matter to real life:
It starts with a phone call — no committee, no personality quiz. If we both like what we hear, you'll come in and interview in person with someone you'd actually be working beside, see the space, and get honest answers about the caseload. We'll respond to your application within the week.
Local candidates, this is your hometown advantage — we'd love to hear from you. If you'd be relocating: Bozeman is a genuinely wonderful place to live and work, and it is genuinely expensive. We can't offer relocation assistance, so please come with clear eyes about the cost of living. Plenty of people make it work and love it here; we just won't pretend the math is easy.
Education: Master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution. Licensure: Valid Montana license to practice physical therapy. Clinical reasoning: Demonstrated strength in assessing patient needs and building treatment plans that work. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication with patients, families, and other members of the care team.
