Job summary

Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess referred patients and provide targeted rehabilitation services. You will document progress accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.

Ideal candidates hold Florida PT licensure and a degree from an accredited PT program, with experience in geriatric rehabilitation or related fields.

Qualifications

• FL licensure required.
• Knowledge of PT evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Understand the principles of physical modalities in PT.
• Knowledge of use of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aids, assistive and resistive devices.
• Ability to write specific objective documentation that is outcome orientated.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation, adult neurological, cardiac or general rehabilitation preferred.

Physical Therapist Job Overview:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, provides patient treatment that meets patient needs, uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with clinical procedures. Writes accurate complete and clear documentation in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor and accrediting requirements. Responsible for overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.

Physical Therapist Requirements/Qualifications:

• FL licensure required
