Qualifications

• CAPTE-accredited PT program required.
• Current MO license and CPR certification required.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic setting.
• Proficiency with EMR and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician referral and patient condition to determine required PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care delivered by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Develop a written plan of care with goals based on evaluation findings.
• Implement PT treatment programs and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation (notes, reports, evaluations, discharge summaries).

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy+ in Ava, MO. As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program. New graduates are encouraged to apply, we’d love for you to start your career with us!
• Current state of Missouri license and CPR certification
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office

Additional Information

• $78,000-$95,000 - Based on experience
• Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:00PM)
• Incentive plan for clinicians who consistently see a higher number of patients per day
