Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an inpatient, full-time position in Florida. You will perform evaluations, assess functional status, and contribute to the total plan of care within the scope of practice and ethics.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and FL licensure, with responsibilities including care coordination and patient/caregiver instruction. A comprehensive benefits package may be available.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of FL REQUIRED.
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF RECENT ACUTE CARE EXP.

Responsibilities

• You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
• You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
• You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
• You will instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
• You will prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
