Job summary

DMOS Engineered Performance in Ankeny, IA is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation care for patients post-injury or surgery. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver cohesive orthopedic care and manage a 40-hour week Monday through Friday with varied daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, following physician protocols, and assisting with patient handling as needed.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice in Iowa as a Physical Therapist or degree in Physical Therapy with anticipated licensure.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with patients and physicians.

Description

Our Physical Therapy team is expanding at our Engineered Performance office located in Ankeny! As a Physical Therapist you will provide our patients with outstanding rehabilitation care to help them get back to daily life and the activities they love. You will work alongside a group of likeminded, team of professionals. Opportunity for collaboration with Physicians to provide cohesive orthopaedic care to patients. No two days are the same working with patients from the community that are in need of rehabilitation from an injury or surgical procedure. These are full-time (40-hr) opportunities with hours Monday thru Friday.

Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday (7am - 6pm) Friday (7am - 4pm)

Here's What You Can Expect

• Develop and plan physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases.
• Adhere to Physician recommendations and protocol related to a patient's condition.
• Being on your feet all day, sometimes assisting in transporting, positioning, or holding patients when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Individual with active license to practice in the state of Iowa as a Physical Therapist (OR individual completing a degree in Physical Therapy with the anticipation of becoming licensed).
• Communication skills. Ability to communicate calmly and professionally to patients and physicians.
• Curious. You practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interrupting your patient.
