Job summary

Diamond Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist for our in-person, full-time facility. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, and monitor progress for adjustments.

You will educate patients and families and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy, is licensed, and has hospital or acute care experience; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• PT Provide hands-on therapy to patients using a variety of techniques and modalities
• PT Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• PT Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
• PT Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy is highly desired
