Job summary

VectorUSA is seeking a Physical Security Engineer (Video Surveillance/Access Control/Integration) for on-site work in Torrance, CA. You will collaborate with sales, estimation, engineering, and field technicians to ensure proposed solutions are communicated and implemented within budget and to maximize client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include pre-engineering site walks, BOM review, travel to sites for post-engineering tasks, and training end users.

Qualifications

• Must have active Industry Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with the physical security team and provide best practices for programming and installation.
• Coordinate with internal sales, support, and service resources to review and implement designed solutions.
• Willing to learn and participate in manufacturer or company trainings on latest technologies.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, and specs.
• Review inputs from stakeholders and adapt solutions to ensure support.
• Perform pre-engineering site walks to support estimation and travel to job sites for post-engineering tasks.
• Provide technical documentation and support CAD team on project close out.
• Support field technicians and contribute to team results.
• Responsible for commissioning systems and training end users.
• Build strong cross-department relationships within VectorUSA.
