Job summary

Fluidstack in Austin, TX is seeking an engineer to design and implement physical security systems for our data-center–style deployments. You will produce design packages, perform site surveys, and coordinate with electrical and IT teams to ensure secure, scalable installations.

The role requires hands-on experience with access control and video management systems, plus delivering drawings, schedules, and integration points.

Qualifications

• Produced buildable packages: riser diagrams, device layouts and schedules.
• Configured and tested access control and VMS platforms hands-on.

Role Scope

• Engineer physical security systems in the reference design: access control, video, intrusion, and perimeter detail by detail.

What We're Looking For

• You've supported installs and closed the punch yourself.

• Bonus: Lenel, Genetec, or equivalent platforms. Data center security standards. Network fundamentals. CAD or Revit fluency.
