Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking an independent Physical or Occupational Therapist to join its nationwide network of consultants. You will perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments and provide expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to help members maintain independence.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments in clients’ homes, documenting findings via our secure online system, and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at time of job offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes.
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device for all work tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Complete straightforward documentation through our secure, user-friendly online potable accessible from any device

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at the time of job offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) for all work tasks
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Home safety assessment background
• Knowledge (Familiarity) of durable medical equipment
• Experience with home modifications
• Work history with diverse medical conditions
