Position Overview

The candidate should be committed to providing top-quality patient care through a strong interdisciplinary approach and working to improve health disparities in Arkansas.

About the Department

Established in 1984, the UAMS Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth rehabilitation care. The department includes subspecialists in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Pediatric Rehabilitation. The department provides inpatient rehabilitation at Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute and outpatient services at the Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. The department is also a leader in telerehabilitation and education, hosting the only ACGME-accredited PM&R residency program in the region.
