Job Summary:

The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher will instruct physical education classes in basic Physical Education following the approved procedures and curriculum of the District.

Organizational Relationship:

The Physical Education Teacher reports directly to the Building Administration.

Qualifications:

• Illinois State Board of Education Professional Licensure with Physical Education endorsement, required
  • Adaptive Physical Education approval, preferred
• Solutions-focused approach to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of all children
• Experience working within an elementary school setting and a diverse (culturally, racially, ethnically, linguistically etc.) student population
• Fluency in a second language, preferred

Salary:

$62,879 (BA, 1) minimum annually with benefits. Actual compensation based on education and experience.
