Job summary

HIHCM Roseville Campus is seeking a part-time elementary PE teacher for an on-campus program. The role involves planning engaging PE periods, teaching a variety of sports, and promoting basic fitness habits for multi-age elementary students.

Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, totaling about 7 hours per week, with compensation starting at $18/hour. This position emphasizes accountability, rapport with students, and a fun, order-driven environment.

Roseville Campus Part-Time (7 hrs/wk) Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

HIHCM Roseville Campus, has a part-time (approximately 7 hours/week) opening for an elementary PE Teacher.

Applicants should:

• Be self-motivated, responsible, and reliable
• Be able to build rapport with students
• Have experience with children in a recreational or camp setting or physical education setting
• Have patience and ability to keep order and respect while having fun
• Have some core knowledge in physical fitness and sports skills

Job responsibilities:

• Plan meaningful PE class periods for elementary students
• Teach a meaningful array of sports and game skills
• Teach basic physical fitness habits
• Manage a multi-age group of students
• Oversee sports equipment

Hours expected to be on campus are Thursdays first semester from 1:20 – 3:00pm, Wednesdays 9:00am – 1:45 pm (all school year), and Tuesdays 2nd semester from 1:20 – 3:00pm.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and education, starting at $18/hour. Parent barter for tuition is also an option for compensation.
