What you’ll do:
Applications Engineering specializing in Logic Synthesis and Physical Implementation
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of Place & Route domains and flows, you excel in driving customer adoption of Cadence Implementation (Genus/Innovus) and services
Extensive experience using Cadence Genus/Innovus for physical implementation in advanced nodes (7nm and below)
Experience debugging issues with UPF configuration, static timing, power grids, routing
Ability to create and modify floorplans
Familiarity with Genus/Innovus Reference Methodology scripts
Able to work with designers to address timing
BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in Genus/Innovus engineering
Experience in Place & Route (physical), Synthesis (logical and physical), STA experience and knowledge
Knowledge in multiple domains of design implementation and understand codependency of flow and methodology such as
Macro & Standard Cell Placement, Clock Tree Synthesis, Routing, Advanced Timing Optimization techniques
Additional knowledge of RTL Coding, Synthesis, Equivalency check, Constraints (timing & Power) is preferable
Proficiency in Static Timing Analysis (STA), Low Power Flows, Design Planning, and TCL scripting
Backend and PnR tools- ICC2 or other PnR tools
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines
Experience executing tasks while managing competing priorities
Practical knowledge working with large code bases
Deep understanding of technology and passion for what you do
Strong teamwork, specifically a proven ability to effectively guide and influence within a dynamic matrix environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
