Job summary

Oscar is hiring a full-time AI Research Engineer for the Computer Vision team in a hybrid role in San Jose, CA. You will work on 3D reconstruction, scene understanding, and visual AI to advance AI-driven robotics using PyTorch, Python, and CUDA.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in 3D perception, multimodal grounding, or temporal reasoning, and may bring knowledge of video models. Equity and medical coverage are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Building physical AI applications at scale from the ground up.
• Strong experience with Computer Vision, Python, PyTorch, CUDA, GPUs.
• Experience with multimodal grounding or temporal reasoning.
• 3D and video model experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join the Computer Vision team to advance AI-driven robotics with 3D reconstruction and scene understanding.
• Work on visual AI architectures and cutting-edge frameworks to prototype and evaluate new models.
• Collaborate across research and engineering to bring physical AI applications to production.
