Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Orono, ME seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join its expanding outpatient rehabilitation team. The role offers a broad practice including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal medicine, neuromuscular disease, and extensive EMG.

Relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, CME allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a base salary of $305,000–$325,000 with potential additional productivity pay.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist with independent practice in rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and musculoskeletal medicine.
• Experience in EMG and spasticity management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across neurology, physiatry, and therapy.
• Participate in outreach clinics and ongoing quality improvement.
