Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Roxborough, Philadelphia is seeking a Per Diem Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) to provide comprehensive care on a flexible schedule. The role supports alternate schedules and per diem practice alongside other commitments.

The physician will evaluate and manage diverse rehabilitation needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes and develop individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• DEA registration.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical medicine consultations.
• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Provide appropriate medication management and procedural interventions within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and communication with referring providers.
