Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted Florida Medical License required.
• Board Certification in Physiatry (PM&R) preferred.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures; EMR experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multi-specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Develop comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans including medications, therapy, and injections.
• Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies as needed.
• Collaborate with therapists and other specialists to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and mobility strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Florida Medical State License.
• Certification: Board Certified.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic procedures. Experience with EMR systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or other conditions causing pain and functional impairment.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans, which may include physical therapy, medication management, and therapeutic injections.
• Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed to aid in diagnosis.
• Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care and maximize functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
