Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years practical experience in the field.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
  • Must have a safe driving record as defined by company policy.
  • Able to perform duties in adverse weather and be on-call when scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes in walls and ceilings.
  • Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment.
  • Repairing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and inspections of facilities.
  • Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
  • Hanging doors and installing door locks.
  • Replacing broken windowpanes.
  • Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

## Phx Fed - General Maintenance WorkerApplylocations: PFB01 - AZ - 230 N First Avetime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR109465Tunista Logistics Solutions LLCRegular**Primary Function**The primary purpose of this position is to provide facilities maintenance support through the performance of general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.**Essential Duties*** Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceiling.* Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets painting structures and equipment.* Repairing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.* Performing Preventive Maintenance and Inspections of facilities.* Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles* Hanging doors and installing door locks.* Replacing broken windowpanes.* Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.* Other related duties as assigned.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities**None**Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*** Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.* Physically fit to bend, stoop, and lift in awkward positions and able to lift up to 60 lbs.* Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice**Required Qualifications*** Sufficient experience is documented with a minimum 10 years practical experience in the field for which proposed* Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.* Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.* Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.* Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.* Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.). Must be able to perform On-call duties when scheduled and report to work within specified time frame.* Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, crawling, reaching, and balancing.**Working Environment**A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance.
