Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to safely operate PITs and manage inventory using RF scanners. You will learn product locations, perform picking, staging and loading, and ensure accuracy, safety, and housekeeping across the distribution center.

The role requires familiarity with RF scanners, adherence to OSHA forklift standards, and the ability to work with a trainer while performing tasks. Lifting up to 50 lbs and overtime as needed are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• RF Scanner knowledge required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred.
• Role requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) and perform daily PIT check list.
• Understand the flow of product through the facility.
• Use an RF Scanner to complete inventory transactions (picking, staging, loading/unloading).
• Understand the proper use of a clamp attachment.
• Work with a trainer while performing tasks.
• Develop knowledge of product locations throughout warehouse.
• Safely store product per specifications.
• Identify and handle damaged product properly within the facility.
• Label product according to pick list specifications.
• Ensure product is secure and damage-free before loading in trailer.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all departments and PITs.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of product location throughout warehouse
• Safely store product according to product specifications
