Job summary

Fabergent is seeking a PHP Developer for an 8+ month contract in midtown Atlanta. In this role, you will focus on creating custom functionalities for web applications that utilize Drupal as the CMS, along with testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have full stack PHP expertise and experience with complex websites, particularly involving Drupal. Familiarity with AJAX, JQuery, and best practices in coding is required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in PHP with both front-end and back-end development experience.
• Experience developing complex websites, preferably using Drupal.
• Familiarity with AJAX and JQuery for dynamic web components.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom functionality for web applications using Drupal.
• Handle testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of web applications.
• Work on migrating the site to Drupal 8 from a custom CMS.

Skills

Expertise in PHP (full stack front and back)

Experience with large scale and complex websites (preferably using Drupal)

Familiarity with AJAX and JQuery

Proficiency with table‑less CSS

Use of git and code reviews

Job description

Client is looking for a PHP Developer for a 8 + month contract with our client in midtown Atlanta. In this role, you will spend 90% of your time working on custom functionality for web applications that use Drupal as the CMS and the other 10% of the workload will involve testing, maintenance and troubleshooting. A lot of your initial work will be working on migration of the site to Drupal 8 from a custom CMS.

Qualifications

• Expertise in PHP (full stack front and back).
• Experience with large scale and complex websites (preferably using Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, CCK, Views and Panels).
• Familiarity with AJAX and JQuery.
• Proficiency with table‑less CSS and the use of git and code reviews before pushing.
