Job description

Job Requirements

• Yii or relevant framework experience
• Object-oriented programming
• PHP5
• Understanding of SQL and experience developing web applications integrated with databases

Primary responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications.
• Effectively troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving application and database-related issues.
• Managing assigned projects throughout their life cycles.

Required Skills:

• Fluent in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and AJAX technologies.
• Proficient with at least one MVC PHP framework such as Yii, Symfony, CakePHP.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented, PHP5-based application design.
• Experience with SQL including complex selects, inserts, updates, and joins.
• Expertise in cross-browser development and web usability.
• Solid understanding of design, coding, and testing methods.

Pluses:

• Experience using LAMP technologies, Yii Framework, MySQL, jQuery, ExtJS, JSON, XML.
• Prior use of debugging tools such as XDebug and Firebug.
