Descripción del empleo

The PHP Developer we're after in Sterling Heights thinks in Tailwind CSS, dreams in Kafka, and argues about naming conventions for sport. We're hiring a mid-level PHP Developer to join Shopping Excellence Corp on a contract basis, with $69,000 - $94,000 on offer and genuine room to advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a technology service end to end, from Spring Boot schema to on-call rotation
• Harden Shopping Excellence Corp's Project Management auth so the MI audit comes back clean
• Keep the technology CI/CD service humming through Sterling Heights's holiday traffic surge
• Defend Shopping Excellence Corp uptime through the 2 a.m. Sterling Heights pages nobody volunteers for
• Carry features from whiteboard sketch to Sterling Heights, MI production without dropping the baton
• Drive the Kafka incident postmortem that stops the Sterling Heights outage from recurring
• Wire REST API APIs to TypeScript consumers so data lands where Sterling Heights teams expect it

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience with modern gRPC workflows and tooling
• Storytelling instincts that turn data into a decision
• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
• A hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
• Equal parts Project Management depth and Linux curiosity

For all its autonomy-rich ambition, Shopping Excellence Corp still operates like the scrappy Sterling Heights startup that first cracked technology years ago. Expect a culture where curiosity is rewarded and asking "why" is never seen as a challenge.

You'll be supported by $69,000 - $94,000, strong health coverage, conference budgets, and a team that promotes from within.

Updated within the day, the PHP Developer position keeps welcoming resumes.
