Job description

Work alongside talented engineers in South Bend to ship ownership-driven features that delight users at every scale. The South Bend role is less about the $86,000 - $128,000 and more about what 6 years of TypeScript lets you own at Energy Plus LLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Guard the Vue.js codebase quality through reviews that teach as much as they catch
• Spike a React proof of concept fast when Energy Plus LLC needs a yes-or-no answer
• Translate the values-led MySQL outage into fixes that make the next South Bend launch dull
• Tune database queries and schemas for high-throughput Energy Plus LLC workloads
• Decide when to buy AWS versus build it for Energy Plus LLC's South Bend, IN stack
• Ship the Agile ruthlessly-focused rewrite that pays down years of Energy Plus LLC technical debt
• Document the PostgreSQL system so the next senior engineer onboards in days, not weeks

What You'll Bring

• Comfort being measured against a clear senior bar
• 7+ years of Attention Management reps, not just Attention Management exposure
• Comfort with remote arrangements and the rhythms of a team-oriented workplace
• Senior-caliber judgment about when to upscale and when to absorb
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

The team at Energy Plus LLC is small, team-oriented, and entirely convinced that South Bend is the best place to reinvent technology. We keep ego out of code review and let the Vue.js argument win on its merits.

The offer includes $86,000 - $128,000, remote flexibility, retirement matching, and coaching tailored to your senior goals.

This minute, the PHP Developer chair sits empty and the search is on.
