The successful candidate will lead test processes for photonic integrated circuits, ensuring quality during high-volume production. Responsibilities include developing automated test solutions, measuring PIC optical performance, and collaborating with design and supplier teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and over 5 years of experience in validation. A strong background in optical engineering, test automation, and familiarity with RF equipment is preferred. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $170,000 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in validation of photonic integrated circuits.
• Proven experience with silicon photonics testing.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define test processes for photonic integrated circuits.
• Lead identification and mitigation of test risks for PICs.
• Develop and automate test solutions for lab validation.

Skills

Experience with optical interconnects

Programming in C++, LabVIEW, or Python

Hands-on industry experience in validation and high-volume test

Familiarity with optical/RF test equipment

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, optical engineering or related discipline
